Search for 'Cinderella'
The Newry Reporter is helping Buttercrane Centre Search for its very own Cinderella to star in the Buttercrane's Santa's Arrival parade on Saturday 13th November 2010 and don't worry, you don't need to be a drama student there's no acting required! If you're a girl aged 5-11 years and love to be the centre of attention then you could be the one
Prizes
- There'll be a fairytale ending for our lucky Cinderella winner worth £400 in total!
- A £300 Buttercrane Centre gift card to spend in any of the 60+ stores in the cerntre.
- Pampering and preening at the hair salon and the look will be completed with a beautiful ball bown and tiara, ready for our Cinderella to make her debut as a true princess. She will also enjoy lunch for two adults and up to three additional children.
- Cinderella will then be greeted by cheering crowds on Saturday 13th November as she is whisked away in a horse drawn carriage (accompanied by a parent) to help launch the Buttercrane's 'Fairytale Christmas' Santa's Arrival.
Rules of the Competition
- Competition closes at Midnight on 20th October 2010
- Semi-Finalists must be available for photos on Saturday 23rd October
- Public voting form in Newry Reporter 27th October
- Winner must be available on 13th November to take part in Buttercrane Santa's Arrival parade
Terms and conditions
All girls must be aged 5-11 years old (inclusive). Proof of age will be required. Photographs submitted that are unclear or damaged will be discarded from entry. We regret that no entries or photographs can be returned. Submitted photographs may be published and by entering the competition you are agreeing to this. The tiebreaker question answers should be apt and original and in keeping with the nature of the competition and will be judged on this criteria. Closing date for entries is midnight on 20th October 2010. The prize is as stated above, is subject to availability and there is no cash alternative. The competition judges will decide on the top ten semi-finalists on 21st October. Semi-finalists must be prepared to attend a photoshoot with a parent or guardian at Buttercrane centre on Saturday 23rd October. Semi-finalists will be contacted by phone so it is important to leave a daytime telephone numbe.These photographs will be used for promotional purposes by Newry Reporter and the Buttercrane Shopping Centre./ The public vote will then identify the top three finalists, based on the highest number of votes submitted on an official voting form. All votes must be made on the Newry Reporter voting form which will appear in-paper on 27th October. No photocopies accepted. Voting closes midnight 3rd November. The judges will decide on the overall winning Cinderella on 4th November and the winner will be informed by telephone. The overall winner must be available with a parent or guardian to take part in Santa's Arrival parade at Buttercrane, Centre, Newry on13th November. The editor's decision is final.
