EXTENDED OPENING HOURS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
EXTENDED OPENING HOURS UNTIL CHRISTMAS – 14/12/2020
After two weeks of closure for non-essential stores, Buttercrane retailers are welcoming customers back with extended opening hours in the run up to Christmas.
Peter Murray Centre Manager said: “We appreciate customers will be trying to get last minute gifts purchased and we want to spread the footfall over longer periods of time to enable social distancing and create a safe shopping environment.
“We’re open to 11pm weeknights in the run up to Christmas as well as longer weekend shopping, with Saturday 8-6pm and Sunday 10-6pm hours from the majority of our retailers. Our stores and staff do really appreciate the custom and support we receive from the local area, Shop Safe and Shop Local is very much what we would encourage this Christmastime. ”
Buttercrane launched a Grotto Visit Experience last week with a unique talking post box and a lifesize Santa which was booked out within hours. “We are offering this experience free to parents who want to have a ‘Santa’ photo of their children to maintain that Christmas tradition and we’ve been delighted with the uptake.”
Safe Shopping is very much part of the Christmas message from Buttercrane.
“We’ve invested significant time and equipment in creating a safe shopping environment.
Masks should be worn by all customers*; we operate a one way system which is well signed throughout the mall; sanitisers are placed in each entrance/exit point; additional cleaning personnel are on site to ensure very regular attention of frequent touch products - they use of unique product which give us 72 hour anti-bacterial protection.
“We’d appeal to people to follow the directional signage and social distance guidelines signposted across the mall and wear a mask. Let’s work together to maintain a safe shopping environment for all our customers in the run up to Christmas.”
