Muffin 'Breaks’ for Buttercrane

This week Buttercrane Centre welcomed the scent of fresh baked muffins to the mall as Muffin Break launched its first Cafe Bakery in Northern Ireland in the Newry shopping centre, located in the heart of the city.

While it’s a first for Northern Ireland, the launch marks the 63^rd store in the UK for the Australian brand joining a family of 360 stores trading across New Zealand and Australia and the UK.

15 staff have been recruited locally to support the new store opening.

The café bakery has a wide range of breakfast, lunch and savoury options with muffins, cakes, bagels and pastries all freshly prepared on site and baked in store. Muffin Break are passionate about sourcing only the best coffee beans and serve 100% Arabica beans, freshly ground for your favourite coffee.

Josh Nixon, Head of Estates, Muffin Break says: “We are delighted to be launching to the Northern Ireland market with our first store in Buttercrane Centre, Newry, with a further four launches in the pipeline for Northern Ireland this year.

“We look forward to serving our freshly baked muffins, cakes, snacks and Arabica coffee to the local community. The café fit out is a welcoming, modern and comfortable refuge for customers to take some time out from retail therapy and enjoy a ‘Muffin Break’.”

The store opens at 9am Monday to Friday and Sunday from 1pm with late nights offered Wed, Thurs & Fri.
